The Forest Ridge Elementary School (FRES) PTA is pleased to present the Howard County Candidates Forum Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the FRES cafeteria. A joint effort sponsored by the Savage Community Association and the FRES PTA, the forum provides an opportunity for local PTA members to meet, greet
and ask questions of the Howard County candidates running for office this November. The event is open to all PTA members from any local Howard County school. Students of all ages are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
Ice Cream Social – 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Ask a Question – Get an Ice Cream Treat
Every attendee who asks a question will receive a free ice cream treat. Please submit questions via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or post your questions to the SCA-PTA Forum Facebook. There is no limit to the number of questions you can submit. Questions will also be taken at the door.
Can’t attend the event? You can still participate. After the forum, candidates will be given an opportunity to respond in writing to the topics submitted.
The SCA-PTA forum was well attended in 2014, and we are hoping to keep up the tradition. You can view the 2014 video here to get a feel for the format. To volunteer for the event or for additional information, contact Lisa Loveless.
