Your membership in the PTA helps fund numerous programs, activities and events at school. Your support is vital. With your membership and involvement, collectively the PTA can:
Support classroom activities by providing teachers with an annual stipend to purchase necessary supplies and materials
Sponsor teacher and staff appreciation week to demonstrate our support for the countless hours that go into educating our children
Supplement the cost of school field trips to reduce the individual expense for families and students
Supplement learning with an assortment of after school programs, activities and cultural arts that enrich our students
Organize family events such as Movie Nights, the Wellness Walk, a Halloween Dance and Spring Carnival, that allow us to connect and have fun as a school community
Publish a school directory – making it easier for you to get to know and stay in touch with other FRES families
Advocate on behalf of the FRES community locally to ensure we receive necessary and appropriate resources
The cost to join the PTA is $10 for an individual or $16 for you and one family member. As a member, you will receive the monthly newsletter and a school directory.
