Let’s celebrate October as National Arts and Humanities month by participating in the Reflections program.

Reflections is a National PTA sponsored competition to encourage artistic talent in children. There are six competition categories — Film, Dance, Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts and Literature, for two age levels: K-2nd and 3rd – 5th. Typically, a student picks a category and creates work based on a theme. This year’s theme is “Within Reach”.  Watch the Reflections Call for Entries video here to learn more.

Reflect on the theme: Within Reach and get creative!

Prizes are awarded to the top three entries in each category and age level. The winners automatically advance to the county, state and national level competitions. Students are encouraged to participate in one or more categories. Each of piece of artwork should be submitted along with a student entry form. Download a form here, or pick up one from the school office.
