Girls on the Run starts the week of Sept. 17 for girls in 3rd-5th grade!

Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, empowering athletic and learning program for girls in grades 3-5. It combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development by incorporating lessons that promote self-challenge instead of competition, self-worth instead of societal worth, and cooperation instead of rivalry.

Registration is Now Open & Spots Are Available!
Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:45-5:00 p.m. at FRES beginning Sept. 18 and runs for 10 weeks—culminating in a 5K run Saturday, Dec. 1 in Columbia, Md.
