FRES Culture Fest, February 24th 3 to 5 pm

Culture Fest is an opportunity for FRES families to celebrate and share their unique heritage with the community and for everyone to celebrate the rich diversity at our school. This special night promotes empathy, acceptance and unity for us in our FRES community.

Come join us for the 5th Annual FRES Culture Fest on Saturday, February 24th at 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

Please consider signing up to share about your culture, ethnicity, heritage and/or country of origin. Feel free to join together with other families and let us know how we can support you. Below are some examples from past years, but we are open to all forms of art and expression:

• Create a tri-fold informational display explaining interesting and important aspects of your culture
• Bring examples of traditional food dishes. **If you choose to bring food, please label any allergens and bring 100 samples
• Teach some words/phrases or songs in the language of your country
• Prepare an activity/craft (coloring the flag or a map)
• Story-telling, music or dance 
• Display or wear traditional forms of dress
